It doesn't seem like I find the opportunities. The opportunities find me. The time I found this website was when I was bored one day and decided to Google my favorite books. Look where that got me!

Artery, It seems to me you actively seek out opportunities to serve, but perhaps you are immersed in an envirionment full of opportunities. I have a feeling it's a bit of both! Both you and Aoquesth seem to exist in opportunity rich environs! DragonPurr

When I think about stuff like this, I just say to myself, If I don't, who will? It's not very hard, actually.

Artery you are not stupid you are amazingly generous and have a heart big enough to hold the entire world inside it! I'm constantly amazed the ways in which you reach out to your fellow human beings! Are you sure you were born in 1996 and not about 30 years before that? You are certainly wise beyond your years. Your giving nature humbles me. DragonPurr

Congratz, artery.
Free time? What free time? lol
I read fan fiction, write fan fiction, look at fan art, read books, watch anime (Japanese animation), and (when she's available) talk to my best friend over the phone and make up oral fan fiction, none of which actually make it to paper but it's still fun to talk about.
Unfortunately, I have to sneak in all my free time stuff when I can, because I've been really busy lately. I'm going to be in Washington D.C. on April 17th-20th for the Young Epidemiology Scholars Competition; I'm a regional finalist and that means I have to give a speech with a powerpoint and a Q&A portion in front of judges and 9 other contestants. (There are 60 of us in all, but we'll be put into groups of 10 to cut down on time - the speeches will still end up conglomerating into about 5 hours.) And I have the ACT this Saturday. The only reason I'm not dreading it is because my mother promised me a new anime DVD set after I take it. Yay!

We are now up to $849 and have two fundraisers at my school that will provide about $5000 and $2000, respectively. I think that I may be able to finish the project by the end of the school year.
